-Donate nut-free candy to make candy bags for students
-Donate nut-free snacks for students to enjoy during the Fall Festival
-Help pack candy bags anytime 8:45am-1:30pm on Tuesday, October 29
-Help set up and enjoy the Festival on October 31st!

Hi YLE families! We hope you're having a great week! As a reminder, our school-wide vision screening is next Wednesday, October 30th. All children in Pre-K through 5th grade will be screened on this day! Students who are identified as needing glasses will be fitted for a pair during the screening and will pick out frames that they'd like. It is very important that your child comes to school on 10/30 to participate in the vision screening! All students in Pre-K through 5th grade received consent forms for vision screening last week. You only need to return this form if you do NOT want your child to participate in the vision screening. Please reach out if you have any questions!

Como recordatorio, nuestro examen de la vista en toda la escuela será el próximo miércoles 30 de octubre. ¡Todos los niños desde preescolar hasta quinto grado serán evaluados ese día! A los estudiantes que se identifiquen que necesitan anteojos se les adaptará un par durante la evaluación y elegirán los marcos que les gusten. ¡Es muy importante que su hijo venga a la escuela el 30 de octubre para participar en el examen de la vista! Todos los estudiantes desde preescolar hasta quinto grado recibieron formularios de consentimiento para un examen de la vista la semana pasada. Sólo necesita devolver este formulario si NO desea que su hijo participe en el examen de la vista. ¡Comuníquese con nosotros si tiene alguna pregunta!

In-person classes will resume on Wednesday, February 14, and students are expected to attend school as usual. All programs and activities will be held as scheduled.
Due to inclement weather, NYC Public Schools will be operating remotely tomorrow, February 13, 2024. While D7 school buildings are closed tomorrow, students should engage in remote learning with their teachers or complete required assigned tasks. For any questions, please reach out directly to your school for support with devices and assignments.
